Today is a Minnie Mouse cake for Reagan. She is turning 3, and her favorite color is green.
I put small little details on the side of the cake, and gave it a pink border.
The mouse hat is made from chocolate cake, fondant, and gumpaste for the ears. Since the birthday girl loves green, I though I would make the hat sitting on a bed of "grass".
If you get a mouse hat from Disneyland (notice I said land and not Disneyworld...when you come from California, it's it's always land) you always get your name embroidered on the back. So I piped that on with icing.
And here is the final product.
