SPLAT!!!

This is a cake I made for an 11year old paintball birthday party. It is yellow cake with vanilla butter cream. I really liked the way this cake turned out...but more importantly...I had SO much fun making. it.

I made the guns out of gum paste...my first time working with it. So many possibilities...cant wait to do more. The "paint balls" are gobstoppers. I covered the board with different colored fondant that I rolled together. I thought it just brought it all together a little more.

I made the paint splatters and the bulls eye out of fondant. I really like the effect with the bright colors.
